Hi everyone and Happy Canada Day!

I thought I’d give an update on what I have been up to during quarantine.

I know this quarantine period has felt like forever, but use this an an opportunity to get ahead! Whether that be in school, pageant prep, or just life in general.

Personally I have been using this time to grow my Youtube channel (@CierraJJ). I am also getting a head start on my summer school readings and doing a much needed deep spring cleaning.

I have also started a customs account on instagram (@_cjcustoms_) where I will be selling custom painted shoes and denim. If you’re interested you can place your order through DM. All proceeds are going towards the Make a Wish Foundation.

With all this extra time, I have also decided to pick up on a new language,  ASL (sign language). So far I can sign the alphabet and a few everyday conversational phrases. It has been a very fun process, and it will be my second language after English. I plan on taking a course in University this fall to expand my knowledge on the language.

I have also been trying to spend less time on my phone and watching tv and instead, to be engaging more into journalling, reading and going on nature walks.

My gymnastics studio has opened up again so I have been training there x3 a week for 3-4 hours a day. We are preparing to go to a World Cup this September in Kazakstan, and World Championships late November for World Championships in Bulgaria! I am super excited to be able to represent my country globally! The photo below is from World Championships in Cartagena, Spain last year (People left to right: my younger sister Chanel, my mother, then myself).

I also have some very exciting news! The votes have came in and I will be on The Fashion Hero season 3! Thank you to everyone who voted for me and I can’t wait to indulge in this new experience!!

I hope that everyone is staying safe and healthy during this time,

See you in my next blog!
