In the wake of the new norm, I have adjusted my speaking engagements to an online format. As I have been slowly growing The Givers Movement, I have established long lasting relationships with individuals and community organizations. This has made my transition to online quite seamless. As a motivational speaker, I’ve had the opportunity to present to student leadership across the Toronto Catholic District School Board as well as the Focus on Youth Summer Program, which is board-wide in Ontario. It’s such an honour to be trusted to speak to a wide audience
Although I am grateful to have a large platform in which to speak, some of my most memorable moments have been with small groups. Recently, I spoke with an after school program. It was fun to be able to speak with students, to hear their thoughts, and to see their faces. Another memorable online moment was a video chat with a non-profit that acts as a platform for youth to foster their creativity. Youth are so inspiring, and it is refreshing to see how adaptable they are in these challenging times.
