I remember competing at provincials back in February, when my name was called as one of the finalist I was so honoured and happy. 🙌
Being part of such an incredible pageant means everything to me. Once the director told us that the finalists were entitled to receive titles according to their city, I got extremely excited.
Ottawa is a beautiful city, full of so much history and amazing people. Representing the nation’s capital is an honour, and I know that I am going to do everything I can to make the people in Ottawa proud and happy to have me as their representative.
Right after the provincials I was so excited to do my official Miss Ottawa shoot since I love to model and do shoots. However, with the pandemic taking over doing photoshoots was risky and I did not want to put my family, nor myself in danger of getting infected. We had to postpone the photoshoot and wait until it was safe.
Of course, months went by and we were still unable to do a photoshoot.
Until yesterday… when my sister who is a photographer told me that we would do a safe official shoot for Miss Ottawa, obeying all the safety rules and laws implemented by the government.
I could not believe it and was so happy to finally take pictures with my sash and crown. She made one of my wishes come true, and I feel extremely lucky to have her as a sister. Not to mention how talented she also is. 🤩
Below is one of the shots from the photoshoot:
Sometimes something as simple as taking some pictures can really make someone’s day. It’s the little things in life that count towards something so much bigger. Thank you Oriana for taking the pictures, I could not be happier! 🥰
Have a good day everyone!
