During COVID-19 I have been doing a lot of introspective work and trying to grow myself as an individual. Since I began my reflections I have decided that I would like to pursue an MBA. My parents always said that the best gift they could ever give me was an education and I cannot wait to go back to school and continue my academic learning. I am currently studying for the GMAT test and preparing my application for the 2021 school year.
As a way to incorporate business and entrepreneurship to one of my favourite pass times (philanthropy), I have created two lines of clothing with all proceeds going to the official Miss World Canada charity: The Children’s Wish Foundation (now being incorporated in to the Make A Wish Foundation).
The first line of apparel is for my Beauty With A Purpose community centre project and podcast. The You Go Girl apparel line is now available for purchase.
Specifically for my pageant girls I have also created a line that can unite the pageant sisterhood within Canada and make us all closer as we social distance from coast to coast. The Kicking Sash apparel line is also now available for purchase.
I have always loved the idea of strong women leaders and business owners and I am so grateful that I have been able to use some entrepreneurial skills while being able to raise money to grant wishes for children with life threatening illnesses.
