On July 14, I hosted a Sunday luncheon called ‘Ignite Your Spark’. This luncheon was held to not only celebrate my sendoff to Miss World Canada but to raise money for the Children’s Wish Foundation, the pageant’s charity of choice. The event was co-hosted by my dearest friends, Chalen Larenza and Rechelle Everden from Artist Movement Productions!

A photo session with Artist Movement Productions

The event was filled with many memories and surprises; not only were the guests fed with delicious food, but they were entertained with music, fashion, a photo booth, and inspiration! Some of the highlights included an inspirational speech led by the Cora Cristobal, the president of the Toronto Women’s Club. The fashion show led by my dearest friend, Shannon Mulholland, who is the creative mind behind ‘Sweet Like Mango’. A spectacular magic show by Alvin Bucao, featuring some of the guests. And finally, the MP Salma Zahid made an appearance to the event, and presented me with recognition on my duties as Miss Toronto East!

After weeks of hard work and preparation, the turnout was a success! I couldn’t thank everyone enough for making it happen, and for attending as well. Ignite Your Spark was a time to bring everyone together, to make connections, and most importantly, to give back to the children who wish for a brighter future!

Special thanks to: Remely’s Restaurant, Somethin’ Sweet 4U Bakery, The Booth 1201, Artist Movement Productions, Cora Cristobal, International Professional Entertainment Network, Shannon Mulholland, Alvin Bucao, Elle Delizo, and MP Salma Zahid for being part of this unforgettable program.

Until next time,
– Jardine
