An exciting moment in time – Miss World Canada, Ontario Qualifier.
Miss Peel Region

In many ancient societies, Pearls symbolized the moon and were imbued with magical properties. Pearls have been called the ‘teardrops of the moon’. Some people believe that Pearls were formed by the passage of angels through the clouds of heaven. Allow me to introduce myself; I’m Pearl – Yes, just like the Gem. I consider myself to be a spiritual being with a higher purpose to serve others.

Becoming a humanitarian was natural for me, as I was taught compassion and empathy from a young age. As I pursue my degree in Public Relations, I work part-time as a Marketing Specialist at World Vision Canada, and volunteer as World Vision’s Child Sponsorship Ambassador. I advocate for children in third world nations to receive basic needs to overcome poverty and injustice. This has been a brought me great satisfaction, and I’m honoured to say that Meghan Markle – the Dutchess/Princess herself, was also a World Vision Ambassador! I’ve also promoted for Plan international, and the Christian Blind Mission in the past. I’ve been able to sponsor over 150 children and continue to strive to change more lives in the process.

I’m a fitness fanatic and enjoy yoga, weight-lifting and overall staying active. Last summer, I was able to pursue a dream of mine and became a certified yoga teacher at one of the most world-renowned yoga teacher training in the world, Sivananda Yoga Ashram in the Bahamas. The experience shaped me into a better person, and I thoroughly enjoy sharing yoga with others, so that they too can experience a mind, body, spirit connection.

Being Miss Peel Region has been a joy, and I look forward to all the impactful opportunities that will follow as Miss World Canada!
